Sinbad's CyberSoul Patrol

The CyberSoul Patrol are four young adults that Sinbad selected to accompany him to Aruba. Why?
Well, to get their unique perspective on his '70s Soul Music Festival and share their findings with the rest of the world, via the web.

Lucky, eh? I'm not so sure. Running around with laptops hanging from your neck, writing HTML while interviewing folks AND trying to keep up with crazy and energetic Sinbad is alot of work -- and fun.

Ha. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

KWESI AMES

Kwesi O. Ames is a professional web developer from Silver Spring, MD. With talents in Perl, Java, C++ and VRML, it's no wonder that he's working with Sinbad and HBO to produce this website. A product of Howard University, he currently is a freelance consultant working in the Washington, DC, metro area. This 24-year-old loves the beach (not surprising since he's originally from Trinidad and Tobago), so you know he's right at home in the Aruba heat. As coordinator of the self-proclaimed Cybersoul Patrol, he is responsible for making sure that the Patrol cover everything that the festival has to offer, from the beach parties and nightclubs to the concerts and jamborees.

DANA HARDY

Dana Zadia Hardy is an honor student at Howard University majoring in Systems Engineering and Computer Science. When she's not studying, you may find Dana chillin' with her friends, playing cards or watching a movie. The 21-year-old loves traveling, funky old-school music, and jazz. Decribed by many as "the sweet girl with the mean face," Dana actively works on strengthening her relationship with God. And if that wasn't enough, she also is a published poet and a gifted vocalist.

MAKEDA RUSSELL

Makeda Russell, 22, is a May graduate of the Howard University School of Communications. She is a native of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, so Aruba is nothing new for her. She believes in balancing her work with her play. Her hobbies are lifting weights (although you can't tell by looking), swimming, and getting tattooed, since according to her, she loves the pain.
