Multi-Function Application

Use Visual Cafe to create an AWT or JFC application with the following features:

  • Personal   Assistant       
                
    • Calendar  (Must be capable of displaying months from 1/1/90 through 12/31/10. )  
      •    
    • Calculator    (Must provide addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. )
           
  • User Branding  Dialog  Window - Allow setting of a name that is exported to the borders of all other opened windows and frames. (While the dialog window is open no other functionality should be operable.)

  •  Unit converter  (Requirements) 
      • Inches to Centimeters
      • Fahreheit to Celsius
      • Miles to Nautical Miles.
      • Pounds to kilograms.
      • Vice Versa (i.e. centimeters to inches).
      • Converter should have a textfield for data entry and another for converted results.   It should allow selecting the conversion type and display the results in another textfield.
      • Button that clears the current value in all textfields.
     
  • Mathematical  Functions:    (NOTE: All Math functions must be launchable from a menu and have a GUI..)  
  • Determines the real roots of a quadratic equation (see assignment). 
  • Computes the greatest common divisor of  user supplied integers.
  •  Determines whether a user supplied integer is prime.
  • Determines the nth in a Fibonacci sequence.

Submission

  1. Create a Visual Cafe 4.5 project (your_lastname3.vep)
  2. Include all source, image, class and project files in a file <your_lastname3>. zip
  3. Email zip file to [email protected]


The project will be graded based on its compilation and execution in Visual Cafe 4.5.
