The connections between computers and per devices can be characterized in three type of connectors, interfaces and cables.

1. the audio cables and connectors

2. the video cables and conectors

3. computer connectors

parallel (25 pin)
SCSI three different types I, II & III (small computer system interface)
Serial cable (9 pins)
USB ( universal serial bus)
Firewire of IEEE 1398
RJ45 and RJ11 internet connection/ modem connection
