Students will be introduced to the engineering design process, and will complete engineering design projects in preparation for subsequent study of engineering principles.
Classes meet twice per week in the Downing Auditorium for large group workshops and lectures. Satellite classrooms will be used for small group activities. Assigned groups will work in small teams to complete one mini-design project and one major design-and-build project. In addition, students are required to complete assignments, homework and quizzes.
