Binary to Decimal Number Conversion

Enter a bit string representing an integer value in binary. Negative values must be represented in two's complement format. This applet accepts up to 16-bit strings. If the user enters a string shorter than 16 bits, the program will add leading zeros to show a 16 bit string in the input box. Hence, all negative numbers must occupy the full 16 bits.
