Gregory Hines

WHUR Announcer

On Air: Midnight to 5 a.m. on Saturdays

Gregory Hines says time is his best friend so he doesn't abuse it or misuse it. Then it's no wonder he has been an announcer at WHUR for 10 years! "I love this job," he says.

When Gregory is not doing his radio thing, he is into computers and stocks and bonds. He says he has a talent for choosing the stocks that make money (so keep your eye out for where Gregory is putting his money).

His biggest pet peeve is people who lie. He also has zero tolerance for late birds. Gregory's favorite type of music is rap music, but he hates mainstream jazz. His favorite song is "Like a Rolling Stone" by Bob Dylan, and his favorite artist is the "P-Funk Master," George Clinton.

Gregory's most embarrassing moment in radio is when he left the microphone on while having an illicit conversation about moments with the woman from the night before. His conversation was heard by all!
