Jacquie Gales Webb

Host of
The Gospel Show

Sundays at 11 a.m to 2 p.m

This Cancer is fascinated by ordinary people who conquer extraordinary circumstances. Then she should be fascinated by herself! Webb has only been at WHUR seven years, but her gospel show is still one of the most listened to shows in the country!

Gospel is her favorite type of music, but she frowns on music with negative lyrics. Her favorite song is "Through the Storm" by Yolanda Williams and she claims Richard Smallwood as her favorite artist.

Her most embarrassing radio moment was when she overslept and caused disaster over at WILD in Boston. When she was a teenager, she had the responsibility of turning the station on to start its broadcast day. Well, she was such a nervous wreck that she couldn't sleep the night before. So, she overslept; but... "Sonny Jo White was very understanding" she says.
