"J.B" has been with WHUR since 1972, hosting the renowned "Caribbean Experience." Born in Trinidad, his favorite music is, of course, Reggae and Calypso. "Redemption Song", by Bob Marley, is the song he enjoys most.

Blake's interests are cooking West Indian dishes and conducting financial services seminars; when he's not doing radio he is the Senior Vice President of Primerica Financial Services in Lanham, Maryland.

Blake says his most embarrassing radio moment was when he was having what he thought was an off-air studio conversation with a guest. He eventually realized that their entire conversation was being broadcasted!
