How to Apply

Howard University has two application deadlines -- November 15, 1998 (Early Action) and April 1, 1999 (Traditional Action).

Scholarships are competitive and funs are limited. Not all students who meet the consideration criteria will necessarily receive a scholarship; therfore, you should apply as early as possible.

If you're applying for consideration by the Early Action deadline, you must include a 500-word essay "How I Can Contribute to Howard University's Legacy of Leadership for America."

If you do not meet the Early Action deadline and you meet the consideration criteria, you may still be eligible for a Howard University Freshman Scholarship.

Deadlines

Early Action: 11/15/98
Traditional Action: 4/1/99
