It was just like any other e-mail I receive on a typical day. I didn't know the author, so my delete finger got itchy quickly. But hey, I read all my fan mail, and this looked like another validation of the hard work I put into Beautiful Black Women!!, so I casually began reading...

"This is Renee Tenison..."

Obviously, this one caught my eye real quick. Could it really be Renee Tenison? The first (and only) Black Playmate of the Year! By now, I'm sure that plenty of people know about my site, and a joke like this would almost be expected from some seasoned Internet veteran. Except something about the name "Renee Tenison" blunted the punchline.

I kept reading. Uh yeah, you're over where? Okay. (Who is that?) Yeah. Okay. "Leave a phone number, I'll call..." What!?!?! Needless to say, my mind started racing trying to think of just the right one to leave. Business phone? Home? Office? Mobile? Other office? The choices were endless; time, however, was not. In that case....

Mobile!

(Hey, you'd eat the charges too!)

Hold on a second! How do I know this is Renee Tenison, I thought. It could be some sadistic fan trying to pump me for information. Or some other nefarious plot. But did I care about such things. NO! This was Renee Tenison, dammit!

So I gave the mail a few days, I mean Renee Tenison is probably pretty busy, right. But after 3 days, no response. So....
