(Brief Biography)
Larry D. Cannon, a native of Gary, Indiana, received his Bachelor of Music Education from Southern University and
A & M College. Mr. Cannon marched for the Southern University Marching Band from 1996 - 1999. Mr. Cannon received Bandsmen of the year, Outstanding woodwind, and various other award while in the marching band at Southern University. As a saxophonist, he has performed in a variety of
recitals within the Baton Rouge area with the Southern University Concert Band. Mr. Cannon is also a member of the MEAC as well as Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Mr. Cannon is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Music Education at Howard University.
